AiGC Board of Directors
The Board of Directors provides strategic oversight and ensures AiGC fulfills its mandate with accountability and integrity.
Board Role and Mandate
Established under the iGaming Alberta Act, the Board of Directors provides independent oversight and strategic direction for AiGC. Composed of up to seven professional directors appointed by the Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction, the Board ensures our operations align with the province’s vision for a safe, modern iGaming market.
Working alongside AGLC’s regulatory framework, the Board governs our partnerships, oversees corporate financial affairs, and appoints the CEO. Their mandate focuses on attracting world-class operators while maintaining the highest standards of accountability, integrity, and responsible gaming.
Ultimately, the Board safeguards Alberta’s regulated market as a fun, secure environment where players are protected and all generated profits are reinvested directly back into Alberta’s communities.
Role of the Board
The Board is responsible for the governance, management, and oversight of AiGC’s business and affairs.
It sets AiGC’s strategic direction, evaluates organizational performance, and approves and monitors the business plan and financial results.
