How do I know if an online gaming operator is regulated in Alberta?

Look for the official AiGC logo and the RGC (Responsible Gambling Council) seal at the top or bottom of the site’s homepage to confirm they meet our strict standards for safety and site integrity.

What is Responsible Gambling (RG) Check and why does it matter?

RG Check was developed by the Responsible Gambling Council and is one of the world’s most comprehensive responsible gambling accreditation programs, ensuring operators have proven, independent safeguards in place to protect players.

How do I know my deposit money is safe with an approved operator?

Approved operators are required by provincial law to keep player funds in dedicated, secured Canadian-based trust accounts completely separate from their operational cash flow.

How do I access responsible gaming tools to manage my play?

You can activate limits on deposits, losses, and session time by visiting the “Responsible Gaming” or “Account Settings” dashboard directly within your account player profile.

What is self-exclusion?

Centralized self-exclusion is a free, voluntary program that allows you to completely block your own access to all regulated Alberta iGaming sites and land-based casinos for a set period, which you can sign up for through AGLC’s centralized portal.
